SOCIAL HIERARCHY

People are lined up according to their labels. I mean the pretty, slim, smart and rich people had to go on top while those otherwise are below. Like, why is that? I know it happens but why is the hierarchy like that? Can somebody explain this to me?! I suppose society and the majority dictates it to be so. But really what does that hierarchy mean?! That kind of classification of people is like SUPER judgmental and not fair.
